Fifth graders from Bridge Point Elementary School

For more than a century, thousands of teachers, researchers, administrators, and students at The University of Texas at Austin have dedicated their academic careers to improving K-12 education in Texas and throughout the nation. Today, every UT school and college sponsors programs and projects that benefit public schools.

At UT, future teachers are trained in the most current methodologies, students and faculty members volunteer their time and expertise mentoring schoolchildren, professors give hands-on demonstrations in schools and field sites, and professional educators continue to develop innovative classroom techniques and cutting-edge technologies that are changing the way students learn.

These sites are easily accessible to teachers, administrators, parents, and students who are interested in expanding their educational opportunities under the guidance of a nationally acclaimed university.
