Bill Arhos, somewhere well outside the Austin city limits. A former instructor in The University of Texas's Radio/TV/Film department, Arhos created Austin City Limits and wrote the proposal to PBS to fund the popular TV series. He has served as program director, general manager, and president of television station KLRU in Austin. His love of Austin's lively and unconventional music scene has made the program an international success.
